The price tag here means we might choose a different hotel when it is just able-bodied adults but it is worth the splurge when it provides such a lovely and inviting experience for people who do not or cannot spend all-day in the theme parks and who want a resort experience rather that is different than simply a theme park vacation.
There are also many forms of recreation and entertainment as well as a library room and little seating areas sprinkled around the resort.
The resort has so many dining options, including an on site character meal, that a resort day can be a real culinary adventure. Our Opinion - We’ve really come to appreciate tower style hotels with close-in dining and recreation now that our extended family now has a baby, an adult with an auto-immune disorder, and mobility-restricted great grandparents and we love, love, love the Skyliner. Most deluxe villa resorts that are part of the Disney Vacation Club are adjacent to a Disney World theme park or Disney Springs but this one is not this disadvantage is mitigated by the easy Skyliner transportation to not one, but two Disney theme parks: Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. These are some of the highest priced rooms on Disney property. In addition, each room has a kitchen or kitchenette, which make it easy to enjoy some meals in the room.ĭisadvantages - This hotel’s small lobby area is a bit of a disappointment when you’re used to the grand lobbies of many of the other Disney World deluxe resorts. Throughout the resort, the photos of Walt and Lillian Disney in the public areas are fascinating for Disney fans. Everyone loves this new transportation to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it is an attraction all on its own. This resort also has its own station on the Disney Skyliner. There is a wide assortment of room options from Tower Studios that accommodate just two guests to 3-Bedroom Grand Villas and every room has a balcony. The tower design and interior hallways seem especially wonderful when you’ve done a lot of walking in the theme parks.
